They lead him into the house eagerly, hoping beyond hope that their father was currently occupied and as such would be unable to get to Naddan's Root Fossil for some time.

A few minutes later he walked up, looking rather dejected. "Yeah, he's busy, but he showed me how to use the fossil machine. We can go down right now, if you want, and bring your Pokemon back to life."

Just don't talk to him right now, he's working on replicating the effects of Ditto through a collar that can allow Pokemon from any egg group to reproduce together." He made a face, which was when Ves decided to join in again. "Hey, got a girlfriend?" Yes, they do like to ask personal questions.

Complex looking machines covered almost every square inch of the facility. Tu beckoned Naddan towards a smaller machine tucked away in the back corner of the room. He pressed a button on its side and a tray slid out from the side. "Just put the fossil in this, then push it back in and press the green button."

It seemed to be positively glowing and soon a red light shone over it, scanning every square inch and isolating the small segment of DNA. There was a screen on the side that showed the bit of molecular data and revealed that it was going to unearth a Lileep. The odd contraption then beeped and a smaller slot for a pokeball to fit in slid open. Obviously, there had to be somewhere for it to go, right?

It quickly vanished in a flash of red light as the two trays opened up again, displaying the now useless fossil and the pokeball that contained the fossil Pokemon. "There ya go, easy as that."
