Miller pulled up to the base in his car, glancing over at his passenger. Wondering to himself about whether this place was ringing any bells, he shut the car off and spoke up. "So, this is it. It looks pretty big...well, I guess prolly cause it is." He shrugged and opened his door, as his Houndoom bounded up to the car. |

The ride there has been pretty smooth, except for the Pikachu family crossing the road, which Miller nearly hit and then swerved into the grass. Dylan got out of the car when he parked, and looked at the big building. "...Wow... This place is huge." she noted, in her mind thinking about how familiar it looked, also. A Houndoom sped towards the vehicle, and Dylan grinned, petting it. "Aw, so cute... Is it a boy or a girl?" she asked. |

The front door almost flew off it's hinges rather unexpectedly as a young man with rough and untidy green hair and blue clothing- jeans and a T-shirt with army green camo boots, and a heavy raincoat- opened the door... with his foot. It suddenly began raining for no apparent reason, heavily at that, and the weather was overcast seconds ago. he pulled out a dark purple umbrella and began walking off down the road, oblivious to the people who had just turned up. He fiddled around with his belt, and a flash of light appeared at his feet, forming the shape of a four foot roughly humanoid bright light; The structure then changed drastically after a millisecond to form long rabbit-like ears, and a small and puffy tail. The light cleared and the form of a brown rabbit with pink fur across it's ears and chest area and dark albino eyes surveyed the area cautiously before looking at Conner, and continuing to walk over the gravelly and beginning to get wet floor. He paused to retrieve the pokeball and walked onwards in a different direction. |

Houndoom sat down beside Dylan, giving Miller a smug look. Miller sighed and shook his head. "He's a male...but a cowardly one at that." He blinked as someone kicked the front door down from the inside and it started pouring down rain simultaneously. He raised an eyebrow, before snorting in recognition. "Oh...Dylan, here's someone you need to meet. CONNER!" He yelled after his longtime friend, wondering where he thought he was going anyways.

"Ha, oh really?" She smiled while petting the Houndoom. She heard a door being kicked open and jumped. All of a sudden, rain fell down from the sky, pelting the three. Dylan grimaced and covered her hair with her arms. "Who was that?" she said before Miller yelled the supposed name of the door kicker. "Conner? Why does that sound so familiar?" she thought. "Uh, okay then..." she muttered, "Can we just get out of this rain or get an umbrella or something? Your poor Houndoom must be getting soaked." |

Conner spun on his heel, rotating the umbrella and spraying the large amount of water already accrued on it everywhere around. He shrugged his shoulders, a very common Conner-like thing to do. And then his expression turned haughty as he realised who exactly was talking to him; The very person who'd left him alone at home with nothing to eat and nothing to drink. YOU! I NEARLY STARVED! YOU LEFT ME ALL ALONE, NO NOTE, AND I HAD TO PAY FOR FOOD! THIS IS A DISGRACE HOW CAN YOU CALL yourse... And then he remembered who exactly it was he was talking to. At any rate, it's good to see you. Where the hell have you been? The place has been like a graveyard... Everyone's been out... it's ridiculous. He walked over to Miller and the other figure, who had been invisible in the thick and dense rain. Getting closer he eyed her in an instant; Finding no obvious problems he shrugged and chose to ignore her at large. Probably wasn't anything special anyway, maybe another one of his many wives He thought to himself with a chuckle. |

Miller, slightly taken aback by Conner's hobo-like outburst, chuckled. "Yeah...sorry. It doesn't feel like that long, to me, anyways...I'll reimburse you for food you had to buy." He looked up into the rain, shivering a bit. "Uh, yeah, let's all go in...oh, and Conner, this is Dylan. She's new to the area. Dylan, this is Conner, one of my oldest friends and the leader of the Aeonic Mirage division of Blitz." |

Conner shrugged his shoulders and folded his arms; his body language refusing the handshake. This wasn't in any way meant to be rude, he just didn't like touching strangers- Especially strangers who claimed to know him, at any rate. Something did seem familiar, though... Like he'd seen this person before sometime. Not recently... but sometime before. An old team member? Yeah, likewise, I'm sure. And no, I don't think you'd have met me before, becau- The proverbial cogs and gears clicked into place at that precise moment and a look of shock, disbelief and finally... anger? all cycled across his face within three seconds. His face turned stony and reddened slightly, and he furiously barged his way through the doors, his pokemon meekly following behind him, dropping the large purple umbrella accompanied with a loud curse as it folded inwards after it was attempted to be crammed through the doors without much success, and rolled away, landing in a pool of water. A distant -slam- could be heard as Conner's door slammed shut, and then all was quiet minus for the rain. |

Miller raised an eyebrow, seemingly no longer startled by Conner's sudden and inexplicable outbursts. "Uh...let's, uh...go get in out of the rain..." He rubbed the back of his now-wet head and shrugged, his lack of understanding quite evident in the look he was giving the door. |

A hand beckoned out from the beaten up and discoloured door on the far right, and a loud voice yelled MILLER! Inside, Conner paced around the room, stopping to listen to hear if Miller was coming close. |

Conner waited for Miller to enter the room and then closed the door behind him with a thud- the door locked shut automatically. He sat on the bed, looking Miller square in the eye, an irritated expression crossing his face. Why have you brought that traitor back here and tried to tell me she's someone else? And yes, for the record, I DO recognise her... She left Neo LONG ago. In fact, she left with everyone else, might I add. One of my co-leaders just upped and left, no reason given. Just disappeared... and I'm not exactly happy to see her either. She may still be your friend, but she ceased to be of any importance to me three years ago. So I'm not going to be unreasonable, keep her away from me, I don't want to talk to her, I don't particularly even want to -SEE- her. And with that he laid back on his bed and stared haughtily upwards at the roof window, a frustrated expression frozen across his face. |

Conner shifted about on the bed, uncomfortable... and in doing so dislodged a large anchor from the wall which clattered into the floor with a huge clanging sound. He stared at it ruefully for a few moments... lost in thought. ... Seriously? Do you really believe that, against all law of rational sanity? It'd be a pretty long shot... No, nigh impossible, for her to be anyone else but herself. As I said... You can do with what you like. I don't understand why you're doing it at all... But if I were to help, and I were to find an answer I didn't like... I wouldn't be best pleased... You know? He shrugged his shoulders; something hard to do while lying down. |
